How can improve elder quality of life? my suugestion of SQS

In order to provide a high quality to the service user, the Social Welfare Department make a supervisory system to advance elderly service effort to increase quality by self, besides, SQS have a clear purpose establish to control the elderly service unwholesome behaviours.
In Hong Kong, there are many elderly service operate, they also have a individual model to conform the society needs. Therefore, we can not only use SQS to analyse the centre go to the live to take some of information research our project, the service target is The Mission Covenant Church Yiu On Tong Social Centre For the Elderly. When we reach the arrived, just know that it needs handwriting a application form after get the instrument of ratification can visit the centre, fortunately, the organization of manager know our status is a student, she allows us to visit the centre and share more extra information to us meet. So that, we can solid perform the information in during the presentation, explain the organization how to practice SQS for audience. On the other hand, we listen the group share their collect information during the presentation. On compare, they are not lucky for us, their research centre have been fix up a building during the visiting and then they decide to use telephone interview replacement. In the result, they also get some of useful content to share in the classroom. In the same aspect, we also collect lots of organization booklet because it commonly write large part centre concept of operation and installations
According to the gather information, I have a conclusion for SQS.I think this supervisory system is near by perfect.. Because of SQS have a careful and precise procedure promise the service user of benefits and majesty, SQS have sixteen principles want the center staff to observe, it can avoid them to abuse their right as the same time it should prevent the service user appear the disagree situation such as SQS1, The service unit ensures that a clear description of its purpose, objectives and mode of service delivery is publicly available, it will update the new information on a regular time schedule, reduce the ordinance appear out-of-date, on the other example,SQS13, the service unit respects the service users' rights in relation to private property, it is prevent the staff will appear corruption status, the last example, SQS 14, the service unit respects The service unit respects the service users' rights for privacy and confidentiality, the service can not personally tell the individual information of service user, it may give them more assurance for organization. Therefore, I can find SQS can stop large part case of damage service user. Yet, SQS also can not hold little person break the rules such
as elder abuse, In 2009 years ,a manager of health worker force a grandmother eat dung in Sheung Shui Southern Nursing Centre because she don't satisfied grandmother incontinence, her behaviors totally destroy professional image of health worker. However, it is not only depend SQS control their unhealthy behavior, still want the organization staff keep continence by self, reduce the harmful fashion live in the society.
In order to Analyze the appropriateness of using the quality assurance mechanism in the centre ,we decide observation to constitute of The Mission Covenant Church Yiu On Tong Social Centre. In framework, The highest decision-making level of the Executive Committee, Coordinate and promote existing social services ministry and to explore the development, funding application or major decisions for approval directly to the Executive Committee for a final decision. on the side, the organization build the Management Committee, the member include IC, SW, PW, AA, WMII AND PA, the main responsibility manager the centre routine work in every day. I think this system very flawless, they have a great procedure to division of labor, everyone have a individual duty, will not appear a matter without handle, besides, it have a supervisory system of high transparency, prevent the stuff abuse their right.
In conclusion, I think SQS true formulate a concept for the staff what should they do or not. Thus, the staff can know that their responsibility baseline is where, clearly explain to the service user their duty range, protect the right with both sides. Of course, SQS is following the advancement with the times, it can follow up the environment change and continue maintain a great supervisory system in future.
